I rowed in the first men's boat at Girton College Boat Club for my entire time at university. I loved the team nature of the sport
and felt that all the early mornings and training sessions taught me a lot.
To give something back to the club, I decided to be the club’s IT officer. While in this role I redesigned their website (gcbc.soc.srcf.net )
from scratch and built it using HTML and CSS. For anyone looking to do something similar, I really recommend bootstrap (this is what
this portfolio is built using) . It makes building websites which look acceptable on different type screens very manageable!
